What is the system requirements of LoGeo?

LoGeo works on most modern computers, tablets and phones with a recent web-browser and an active internet connection.

Apart from the LoGeo system, we also provide two LoGeo Apps: the Driver App used for POD/POC (proof of delivery/collection) capture and the Warehouse Management App used for warehouse scanning. These apps support devices with a recent Android 4.0+ operating system, including smart phones, tablets and bar-code scanners.

The LoGeo system is accessible through Safari on an iPad and iPhone, the two mentioned LoGeo apps do however not currently support these devices.

Because of the nature of LoGeo as a cloud-based software, it can only work with internet connection. The sames goes to the two LoGeo apps.

Watch our demo video of the LoGeo Driver App to see how it works.

Do we need to update our LoGeo system constantly?

No, because of the cloud-based nature of LoGeo, users do not need to upgrade their system.

All the routine or required updates or adjustments of the system will be done by the software provider. We also do our best to make sure such updates will have the least possible influence on the normal operation of the system during the office hours of our clients.

How many users can access the LoGeo system simultaneously?

The number of users accessing LoGeo at the same time, in theory, is unlimited. Your system set-up will be based on your requirements giving you limitless access without restrictions on the number of users that can access your system simultaneously. If requirements grow, your hosting options will grow with you.

Can our staff perform barcode scanning with their smart phones instead of barcode scanners?

Yes.

Apart from the LoGeo system, we also provide two LoGeo Apps: the Driver App and the Warehouse Management App. Both apps have barcode scanning capability along with other functions to help drivers and warehouse staff.

These two apps support most devices with a recent Android version 4.0 and higher operating system, including smart phones, tablets and bar-code scanners. As long as the devices are connected to the internet, users can do barcode scanning and send all of the updates to the LoGeo system with the apps. Note that after users download the apps from Google Play, they will need an administrative user to set up user accounts for them to log in the app and use it.

Can the LoGeo system work on smart phones and tablets?

Yes. LoGeo works on smart devices with an internet connection.

The LoGeo Driver App and Warehouse Management App work on devices with a recent Android version 4.0 and higher operating system.

The two LoGeo apps don't currently support Apple iOS devices such as an iPhone or iPad, but the LoGeo system is always accessible using the Safari web browser on these devices.

Is it possible for us to send invoices to our clients directly from LoGeo?

Yes, but to do that, we need to set up interfaces for EDI (electronic data interchange) between you and your chosen clients. After that, you can send them invoices directly from the Invoicing screen of LoGeo, and they can also send you shipment orders and receive documents from you via EDI. This will save both parties considerable time in exchanging and processing orders, documents and paperwork.

Note that interface is part of the set-up services for a client, so it will affect the total set-up costs of your LoGeo system.

Can we export the invoices generated by LoGeo?

Yes. You can always export invoices in the format of Excel spreadsheets. LoGeo also stores all the invoices and documents so that you can quickly find whatever you need using various filters provided on the screens. There will be no need for you to dig through piles of paperwork or tons of computer documents for a historical record about a consignment or an invoice.

How often can we get new invoices from LoGeo for our recent delivery jobs?

You need to do an invoice run for LoGeo to generate invoices for your latest collection and delivery jobs. You can start a new invoice run on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, or just at any time you want.

Once a new run is completed, you can find the latest invoices for your customers in the Invoice screen of LoGeo. In case of problems during the run, the system will give error alert for you to go the particular screen and check error details.

Note that LoGeo will not generate more than one invoice for the same job, but you are still suggested to check content of invoices before sending them to your customers.

Can we use a tablet or smart phone as barcode scanner at our warehouses?

Yes. We provide the LoGeo Warehouse Management App to improve the accuracy and efficiency of work at your warehouse. The app works on most devices with a recent Android operating system. Your staff can find the app in Google Play store and install it on their device, but please make sure you set up user accounts for them to log into the app.

Currently the LoGeo apps do not support Apple iOS devices such as an iPhone or iPad.

How can the LoGeo Warehouse Management App improve work at our warehouses?

The Warehouse Management App helps your staff improve both the accuracy and efficiency of their work mainly with its bar-code scanning and matching feature. The main idea behind the app is that your staff do the barcode scanning to make sure only the right consignments can come into or out of your warehouses, while recording their exact locations once consignments are placed into a warehouse. Like the Driver App, the warehouse app also sends information back to the LoGeo system once the info is recorded.

The app can used in most smart devices (phone, tablet, bar-code scanner) with a recent Android 4.0 or higher operating system. Its main functions include:

  1. Inbound/outbound scanning of consignment units
  2. Scanning the goods into a physical warehouse location (Area, racking, loading-bay)
  3. Inventory scanning
  4. Movement of consignments between different locations inside warehouses
  5. Relabeling consignment units
